Said, a young man of Moroccan origin, tries to find a future in Spain by taking the fast track. Together with a group of young people, they gag and kidnap a man to hand him over to a dangerous criminal organisation. But on the way, the man suffocates to death in the boot of the car. Now they have to deal with the dead body. They decide to perform the Arab ritual ‘Al-Janazah’ to cleanse and purify the body and bury it. In a desperate attempt to cleanse their consciences and souls, and thus be able to reconcile themselves with God (and with themselves).
